The first day of school (Einschulung) is a day for the whole family, and in the afternoon there are usually more people at the table than planned. I deliver the food ready to serve to Oranienburg, Hohen Neuendorf, Hennigsdorf, Velten and the rest of the Oberhavel district, so you can spend the day with your child instead of in the kitchen.

For the first day of school, the mix is what matters: finger food and small bites that children can easily reach, and something hearty for the adults alongside. You put the menu together so that both groups go home full.
Cake table in the afternoon
The classic for the first day of school: coffee and cake in the afternoon, then something hot or a finger food buffet in the evening. I bake cakes to order, happily with a back to school theme.
Asking early pays off
All school starts in a region fall in the same period, usually in August or September. If you ask early, you have a free choice of dates. If time is already short, ask anyway; sometimes there is still a slot.
Delivery and setup
The day of the school start is tightly scheduled. We agree on the delivery time together in advance, and I set everything up before the guests arrive. Setup is included with every delivery. Afterwards you either return crockery and platters yourself, or I collect them, which is charged extra.
